Email Forwarding
To set up spam filters on your own email software:
If you get specific email that you want to block, you may be able to do it within the email service or software you use. Different email software programs operate differently so we can only give you general directions here.
- Find the place in your email software where you can set up "Filtering Rules", "Blocking", "Blacklisting", or "Spam Prevention" and read the instructions.
- Look for information in the spam email that you could use to identify it as spam (examples would be the senders email address, their domain name or other words in the subject or body that you would only find in spam).
- Follow the instructions and tell your email software to delete mail that has the properties you identified that would be in spam messages.
